About the Author - John Cherry....From the opening note of "All My Loving" on February 9, 1964 on The Ed Sullivan Show, John Cherry was a Beatle fan. He eagerly awaited every Beatle release, and agonized over the breakup of the band in 1970. Now, he has chosen to write, in his second book, about the comparison of the music and talent of Paul McCartney and John Lennon. An extensive library of Beatle related material provided extensive background to the formation of the book. Before retiring four years ago, Cherry worked in athletics for 25 years at The University of North Carolina. His first book, published in August of 2008, was "War on U.S. - How Policies and People are Destroying America," and it covered a variety of subjects outside the political spectrum, including the best and worst of music.
